Art School Girlfriend – Soft Landing
Polly Mackey atau akrab dengan sebutan nama Art School Girlfriend merilis album studio ke-2 nya dengan judul “Soft Landing”. Sama seperti album pendahulunya, “Is It Light Where You Are”, album terbaru dari penyanyi asal United Kingdom tersebut masih menampilkan perpaduan antara musik shoegaze alternative rock dengan gaya produksi bedroom pop dan sentuhan peralatan instrumen elektronik rumahan yang khas. Mackey kembali bekerjasama dengan co-produser, Riley MacIntyre dan Marika Hackman yang seringkali menjadi orang yang membantu Mackey menulis lagu-lagunya. Total terdapat 11 lagu baru yang dipersembahkan melalui album “Soft Landing”, dimana Tony Njoku menjadi satu-satunya kolaborator yang tampil pada salah satu lagu berjudul “Blue Sky”.

Runespell – Shores of Náströnd
Trio black metal kelahiran Austria, Runespell melepas album studio ke-5 sepanjang karir mereka dengan judul “Shores of Náströnd” melalui Iron Bonehead Productions. Ini merupakan hasil tindak lanjut dari album “Verses in Regicide” yang mereka rilis 2021 lalu. Total terdapat 6 lagu baru yang dipersembahkan Runespell kali ini dengan total durasi album mencapai 46 menit. Terdapat pergantian formasi yang begitu signifikan dalam tubuh Runespell, dimana Nightwolf selaku gitaris dan pemegang instrumen lainnya menjadi satu-satunya personil asli yang bertahan sejak Runespell dibentuk 2017 lalu. Basilysk (Temple Nightside, The Slow Death, Rookwood) dipilih untuk menjadi vokalis sekaligus drummer, dan Irrwycht (Baxaxaxa, Schrecken, Ypokosmos) memegang posisi kibordis pada band. Keduanya baru bergabung ke dalam Runespell sejak 2022 lalu.
崎山蒼志 [Soushi Sakiyama] – i 触れる SAD UFO
Penyanyi art-pop / J-Rock Soushi Sakiyama merilis album studio ke-5 sepanjang karirnya dengan judul “i 触れる SAD UFO”. Ini menjadi ketiga kalinya secara berturut-turut bagi Sakiyama untuk selalu merilis album studio dalam pergantian tahun. Ini sudah ia lakukan sejak dirinya melepas album studio ke-3 bertajuk “Find Fuse in Youth” pada 2021 lalu, yang kemudian disusul dengan perilisan album “Face to Time Case” 2022 lalu. Terdapat 11 lagu baru yang dimasukkan Sakiyama ke dalam album terbarunya ini.

Octavia M Sheffner – World Resurfaced
Nama Octa Möbius Sheffner begitu dominan dalam skena musik elektronik bawah tanah internet. Musisi kelahiran Russia ini telah bergabung dengan begitu banyaknya proyek band seperti : 7Form Troupe of Magical Performing Arts, 43hz94khz, 50 Cent Sonnerie, Alligator Alias, American Girls, Ancient Bog Attitude, Aquamarine Duet, Aquatic Airlines, Archive 1289, dan masih banyak lagi. Tidak hanya itu saja dia juga mendirikan berbagai label-label yang menaungi dan memfasilitasi para musisi elektronik bawah tanah. Label-label yang ia dirikan antara lain : 218, 2017, Next Year’s Snow, Thalposis Jebel, Ubiquitous Anomalies. Sementara sisi karir solo seorang Sheffner juga begitu produktif dia telah merilis 171 album solo, semenjak dirinya memulai solo karirnya pada tahun 2015. Sheffner pun seringkali berkolaborasi bersama musisi elektornik bawah tanah lainnya seperti Janis Lago, 13120, 4AM Loops, Oil Torture, dan masih banyak lagi. Sekarang setelah melalui itu semua, Sheffner masih belum berpuas diri dan ia kembali melepas album terbaru dengan judul “World Resurfaced”. Dalam album yang hanya berisikan 4 lagu ini, Sheffner memutuskan untuk bermain dalam elemen musik sound collage dengan balutan melodi bersinar dari neo-psychedelia dan nuansa yang sangat optimistik dan cerah dari gaya musik utopian virtual. Album ini sendiri dirilis di bawah naungan label Blorpus Editions, sebuah Netlabel yang beroperasi di Chicago.
URNE – A Feast on Sorrow
Unit sludge metalcore asal London, URNE baru saja melepas album studio ke-2 sepanjang karir mereka berjudul “A Feast on Sorrow” yang dirilis melalui Candlelight Records. Ini sekaligus merupakan debut bagi James Cook, pasalnya sang drummer baru saja masuk pada tahun 2022 lalu menggantikan drummer lama mereka Richard Harris. Mereka mendatangkan nama Joe Duplantier gitaris dari band progressive metal ternama Gojira, untuk menjadi produser utama. Selain itu mereka juga menyewa jasa Ted Jensen untuk menangani sesi mastering album dan Johann Meyer sebagai engineering dan mengurus hal terkait mixing keseluruhan album. Sebanyak 8 lagu anyar yang dipersembahkan oleh URNE melalui album terbarunya ini. 2 lagu diantaranya, bahkan memiliki durasi mencapai 11 menit, yang masing-masing berjudul : “A Stumble of Words “ & “ The Long Goodbye / Where Do We Go When We Die?”. P9jm juga memiliki nama atau pseudonim lainnya yang bernama tdstr dan telah menjadi musisi yang cukup prolifik dengan total merilis sebanyak 7 studio album, ketika menggunakan nama tdstr.

p9jm – 13:00 – 14:00
Dj sekaligus produser, P9jm melepas ep terbarunya dengan judul “13:00 – 14:00”. Seperti yang telah menjadi kebiasaan musisi kelahiran Texas ini, dia kembali membagikan musiknya secara gratis melalui laman resmi Bandcamp pribadinya. Ini sekaligus menjadi ep ke-2 yang dirilis “p9jm” di tahun ini. Sebelumnya dia juga merilis ep “12:00 – 13:00” pada April lalu. Proses pengerjaan dan rekaman “13:00 – 14:00” memakan waktu sebanyak 4 bulan, yang mulai dikerjakan April lalu hingga Juli kemarin. Total terdapat 6 lagu dengan total durasi yang hanya menyentuh 12 menit. P9jm sendiri dikenal sebagai musisi atau dj elektronik yang piawai dalam menggunakan teknik mashup atau mencampur beberapa lagu ke dalam satu mix besar. Dia juga kerap kali memainkan berbagai jenis turunan musik elektronik semacam hardcore, house, breakcore, dan beberapa turunan musik elektronik lainnya yang masih dalam lingkup EDM.
