Poppy – Zig
Penyanyi sekaligus penulis lagu, Poppy merilis album studio ke-5 bertajuk “Zig” melalui Sumerian Records. Kabar perilisan album terbaru Poppy bermula pada Desember 2022 lalu, ketika Poppy memberitahu pihak Revolver sedang mengerjakan album studio ke-5 nya itu. Kemudian itu ditindaklanjuti pada 4 April 2023, ketika Poppy merilis sebuah single bertajuk “Church Outfit”. Poppy kembali berkolaborasi dengan Simon Wilcox yang menjadi co-writer untuk 10 dari total 11 lagu yang terdaftar dalam album terbaru Poppy kali ini. Selain Wilcox beberapa nama-nama musisi seperti Ian Kirkpatrick, Ali Payami, Sean Douglas, Lara, dan Joakim Berg terlibat dalam penulisan lagu. Pada saat sesi wawancara bersama Sumerian Records, Poppy mengatakan bahwa ia melabeli album terbarunya ini sebagai musik dark pop dan mengaku bahwa musiknya terinspirasi dari musik industrial tahun 90’an. Ia juga mengatakan bahwa musisi seperti 90’s Blondie, Blawan, Burial, David Bowie, Gary Numan, Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club menjadi inspirasinya secara langsung.

Autopsy – Ashes, Organs, Blood and Crypts
Salah satu legenda death metal kelahiran California, Autopsy merilis album studio ke-10 dengan judul “Ashes, Organs, Blood and Crypts” melalui Peaceville Records. Album ini hanya memiliki jarak 1 tahun dari rilisan mereka sebelumnya, “Morbidity Triumphant” dan nampak Autopsy ingin menebus masa, dimana mereka pernah absen selama 7 tahun tidak merilis album studio apapun. Kali ini, sang bassist, Greg Wilkinson yang turun tangan untuk mengerjakan proses rekaman yang juga dibantu oleh Scott Evans dan menyelesaikan tahap mixing. Autopsy kembali menggunakan jasa Wes Benscoter untuk melukis sampul utama pada album, dimana Wes telah mengerjakan sampul album untuk Autopsy sejak album “Macabre Eternal” dilepas pada tahun 2011 lalu.

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard – The Silver Cord
Band psychedelic / experimental rock King Gizzard and the Lizzard Wizard (KGATLW) merilis album studio terbaru berjudul “The Silver Cord”. Ini menjadi album studio ke-2 yang dirilis KGATLW tahun ini setelah Juni lalu mereka melepas album berjudul “PetroDragonic Apocalypse; or, Dawn of Eternal Night: An Annihilation of Planet Earth and the Beginning of Merciless Damnation”. Album ini mulai digarap pada Jaunari 2023 di ruang studio latihan pribadi milik band yang diarahkan oleh Merri Creek. Sang frontman dan gitaris, Stu Mackenzie menyelesaikan proses mixing yang dibantu oleh Guus Hoevenaars di Newmarket Studios, Melbourne Utara.

Legendry – Time Immortal Wept
Trio epic heavy metal Legendry melanjutkan saga petualangannya dengan melepas album terbaru bertajuk “Time Immortal Wept” melalui No Remorse Records. Mereka mengundang produser / audio engineer metal kawakan, Arthur Rizk untuk mengurusi proses mixing dan mastering. Sementara sang vokalis Vidarr kembali menggarap sampul album, hal yang telah dilakukannya sejak Legendry melepas album debut pada tahun 2016. Album-album Legendry sendiri merupakan sebuah kisah konseptual seorang ksatria misterius. Latar belakang kisah album “Time Immortal Wept” dimulai ketika sang ksatria telah mengalahkan penyihir. Kemudian dia menemukan sebuah rahasia yang ternyata membuat dirinya terdampar pada dimensi yang memiliki perbedaan ribuan tahun dari dimensi aslinya. Sekali lagi sang ksatria harus kembali berjuang dan aksinya dinarasikan secara epik melalui album studio ke-4 Legendry ini.

Marina Herlop – Nekkuja
1 Tahun pasca perilisan album “Pripyat”, penyanyi sekaligus penulis lagu kelahiran Catalunya, Marina Herlop merilis album studio ke-4 berjudul “Nekkuja” melalui PAN records. Tercetusnya ide pembuatan album ini bermula ketika Marina duduk di balkon apartemen miliknya sambil merasa gelisah memikirkan karir bermusiknya yang tidak menentu. “Beberapa hari saya biasa duduk di balkon apartemen saya untuk berjemur. Saya memejamkan mata dan mulai membayangkan diri saya sebagai seorang tukang kebun, mencabut rumput ungu dari tanah, setiap kenangan buruk atau emosi yang saya rasakan. ingin mengusir menjadi salah satu tanaman.” ucapnya. Total terdapat 7 lagu baru yang dipersembahkan Marina, termasuk single “La Alhambra” & “Karada” yang ia rilis lebih dulu. Saat ini Marina Herlop sedang menjalani tur yang telah dimulai sejak 3 September lalu di Zürich, Switzerland. Rencananya agenda tur Marina akan ditutup pada tanggal 15 Desember mendatang di CaixaForum, Sevilla, Spanyol.

Malokarpatan – Vertumnus Caesar
Kuartet blackened heavy metal asal Slovakia, Malokarpatan melepas album studio ke-4 nya berjudul “Vertumnus Caesar” melalui Invictus Productions. Ini merupakan tindak lanjut daripada album “Krupinské ohne” yang telah mereka rilis 3 tahun silam. Selama rentang jeda waktu 3 tahun tersebut terdapat pergantian formasi, dimana Axel Johansson masuk sebagai drummer pada tahun 2022, menggantikan Miroslav. Olof Wikstrand ditunjuk untuk mengerjakan mixing, sementara Astrid Bergdahl diberi mandat untuk menggambar artwork sampul utama album.
